As far as I can remember, I always wanted to be a mermaid. Yeah, you got that right! The Little Mermaid set completely unrealistic expectations for the little girl I was at the time. Around 7, I asked my best friend to buy me a mermaid costume for my birthday… or did he offer to buy me one? I cannot remember for the life of me. I’m still waiting though!…
